Autumn Foliage at Rikugien Gardens
November 21 – December 20, 2026
¥300
Located near Komagome Station, Rikugien is a prime example of an Edo-period strolling garden, featuring landscaped hills and ponds. In late November, around 400 Japanese maple trees and about 560 colorful trees in total—including azaleas and ginkgo—create a vivid display throughout the garden. The western side, especially the Mizukoke-no-E area, offers particularly stunning views of the autumn foliage. The Tsutsuji Chaya teahouse and the Sannin Bridge are especially picturesque spots during this season.
