The tranquil grounds of Yushima Tenmangu Shrine come alive with chrysanthemums in a rainbow of colors. Highlights include the 'Tomanishiki' variety with its crimson and gold gradations, striking 'Cascade' displays with blooms arranged to drape down like cliffs, and 'Senrinzaki', where numerous blossoms from a single plant form a bouquet-like effect. These autumn flowers fill the shrine precincts, joined by rare chrysanthemum dolls—sculpted figures decorated with chrysanthemum flowers—creating unique tableaus.
