Autumn Foliage at Genjiyama Park
Once known as Mount Shirahata or Mount Hatate, this park is surrounded by rich natural greenery. Next to the park is Kewaizaka Pass, one of Kamakura’s Seven Passes and a designated national historic site. Within the park, you'll find a statue of Minamoto no Yoritomo and open plazas. Cherry blossoms bloom in spring, and vibrant autumn leaves can be enjoyed in fall. There is a hiking trail leading to North Kamakura and the Great Buddha. Nearby attractions include Kuzuharaoka Shrine, Zeniarai Benzaiten Shrine, and Sasuke Inari Shrine.
