Smiling Towards Spring in Asakusa: Taito Traditional Performing Arts Show – 9th Edo Town Taito Performing Arts Festival
A relaxed variety show of Japanese寄席 (yose) entertainment at Asakusa Public Hall, designed to be easy to enjoy for all ages and for first-time visitors. The lineup mixes comedy sketches, naniwabushi storytelling, classical rakugo and stand-up, hosted by rakugo performer Shunputei Kakehashi. Performers include Spicy Garlic, Azumaya Chiharu, Sanyutei Yujaku, Nezutchi and Tatekawa Shiraku.
