Nagatoro Autumn Foliage Festival 2026

Nagatoro is a spectacular spot for autumn leaves. On the far side of the Arakawa River near the Iwadatami rock formations, vibrant trees surround the Chichibu Red Cliffs and their colors are reflected in the water below. The Tsuki no Ishi Momiji Park and Hodosan Shrine are also popular viewing locations, with illumination held in line with the peak foliage season (November 6–29). Enjoy the stunning red and gold leaves of maples, oaks, and other trees while drifting down the Arakawa River, and take in the beautiful autumn scenery surrounded by colorful trees.
