This exhibition showcases around 200 works selected from approximately 14,000 pieces in the museum’s collection. This term, three Important Cultural Properties by Kiyokata Kaburaki—'Tsukiji Akashicho,' 'Shintomicho,' and 'Hamacho Riverside'—will be displayed together for the first time in seven years. Other masterpieces of modern Japanese art, such as 'Autumn Trees' by Shunso Hishida and 'Winter Flowers' by Kaii Higashiyama, will also be featured. A special collaboration with the November issue of 'Fujin Gaho' magazine allows visitors to view highlighted works in person. Additionally, a small-scale exhibition, 'Amis de Paris: Japanese Artists in Paris,' focuses on Japanese artists who were active in Paris before and after World War II.
