Autumn Leaves at Zuisenji Temple
Located in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Zuisenji Temple is also known as the 'Temple of Flowers' and is celebrated for its blooms throughout the year, including plums, daffodils, cherry blossoms, and bush clover. The area around the temple is called 'Valley of Autumn Leaves,' and starting in late November, the foliage begins turning yellow. By mid-December, the temple grounds are adorned with beautifully colored maples and ginkgo trees at their peak. Visitors can also enjoy rare winter cherry blossoms and cold-weather chrysanthemums within the temple grounds.
