Autumn Leaves at the Tokyo National Museum

In the north garden behind the main building—planted with flowers and trees for every season—you can enjoy the vivid reds, oranges, and yellows of autumn foliage. On the shore of a historic pond, surrounded by five traditional tea houses (including one originally built in Kyoto about 400 years ago), watch for ducks and other wild birds. Admire the scenery as ginkgo trees turn golden and red maple leaves reflect on the water, offering a rich atmosphere unique to autumn.
