Autumn Leaves at Nakagawa Onsen
Located in the western part of the Tanzawa Mountains in Kanagawa Prefecture, this quiet hot spring village is surrounded by water and greenery. Nakagawa Onsen is historically known as the 'secret bath of Lord Takeda Shingen,' said to have been used by the warlord to heal wounded soldiers. The area is near Tanzawa Lake, a well-known scenic spot selected among the Top 50 Scenic Places and the Top 100 Views of Mount Fuji in the Kanto region. Visitors can relax amid lush nature, and in autumn, beautiful foliage can be enjoyed along the river and from the hot springs. The leaves are at their best from mid-November.
