Autumn Leaves at Kawagoe Park (Hot Staff Kawagoe Park)
November 11 – December 10, 2026
Located about 2 kilometers west of downtown Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture, this 44.6-hectare prefectural park stretches along the right bank of the Iruma River. Established in 1988 mainly as a water park, it was designed to provide a space filled with water and greenery, and from 2026 onward will be known by its nickname, Hot Staff Kawagoe Park. In spring, around 330 cherry trees bloom along the park’s promenade. In autumn, the park is adorned with spider lilies and vibrant foliage, with peak colors typically from mid-November to early December. Visitors can enjoy a variety of trees, including ginkgo, dawn redwood, Japanese maple, and Chinese maple, displaying brilliant shades of yellow, red, and orange all at once. The park also features open lawns and playgrounds, making it an ideal spot for families to take in the autumn scenery at a relaxed pace.
