Autumn Leaves at Hasedera Temple
Founded in 736, Hasedera is an ancient temple known for its massive wooden statue of the Eleven-Headed Kannon, one of the largest of its kind in Japan. The temple grounds are renowned for their seasonal flowers and trees, earning it the nickname "Western Paradise of Kamakura." In autumn, visitors can admire the colorful maple and ginkgo leaves, and enjoy special nighttime illuminations. Around Myochi Pond and Hojo Pond, the autumn foliage is beautifully reflected on the water, creating a magical atmosphere.
