[Autumn Foliage Peak] Mount Gozenyama
November 1–20, 2026
The scenic view created by the clear Naka River and Mount Gozenyama has earned it the nickname 'Arashiyama of Kanto,' as it resembles Kyoto’s famous Arashiyama. This spot offers beautiful natural scenery throughout the seasons, especially during autumn foliage. The mountain is covered in primeval forest and is home to a wide variety of plants and insects. The name 'Gozenyama' is said to originate from the tragic love legend of Empress Koken and monk Dokyo.
