Otaki is a renowned spot for autumn foliage. Takigawa Gorge runs along the Takigawa River, just before the Karisaka Tunnel that passes under Karisaka Pass. The dramatic scenery—sheer cliffs, steep and deep valleys, exposed rocky terrain—creates a stunning backdrop for the colorful autumn leaves.
