Autumn Foliage at Meigetsuin Temple
A Zen temple of the Kenchoji school located in Kamakura City. Upon passing through the main gate, the main hall on the left enshrines the statue of Sho Kannon Bodhisattva. Known as the 'Temple of Flowers,' it features weeping cherry trees and forsythia in early spring, hydrangeas brightening the approach and grounds in early summer, and daffodils, camellias, and wintersweet blooming in winter. During the autumn foliage season in December, the inner garden behind the main hall is also open to the public.
