⌖ Open in Maps ↗December 19 (Sat) in Shibuya, free entry, limited to 30 participants. This workshop is for anyone who has heard the term 'AI agent' but isn't sure how it's different from chatbots or how it could apply to their own work. Rather than just theoretical explanations, you'll see AI agents in action, using a real challenge faced by the venue—AI Village—as a case study.
Can you explain the most popular AI buzzword of 2026?
'AI agent' is likely the term that dominated conversations around AI this year. Still, many people wonder how it's different from chatbots like ChatGPT, what it can actually do, and where to start introducing it in their own company. Even with diagrams, the mechanics can be hard to grasp—it’s much easier to understand by seeing AI agents actually working.
For this workshop, we’ll address a genuine challenge faced by AI Village in Shibuya, which just launched. With only five core team members handling everything from events to customer service, they have struggled to keep up with social media postings and outreach—they simply don’t have enough hands. Does this sound familiar?
In business, getting noticed and staying memorable are crucial, both of which require active outreach. But with limited time and staff, even outsourcing can be overwhelming when you’re not sure what to request. In this session, you’ll watch in real time as an AI agent tackles this specific problem, demonstrating exactly what can be accomplished.
What’s covered:
Part 1: See the Difference Between 'Answering AI' and 'Working AI'
Traditional chatbots answer questions; AI agents can plan and execute tasks. Watch live as an AI agent publishes a blog article, showcasing this difference.
Part 2: AI Agent Creates Outreach Content for AI Village Live
The AI Village team will share their current challenges and what they'd like to communicate by speaking aloud. See how the AI agent turns their words into a draft blog post and social media content.
(Note: The experiment stops just before actual posting—nothing will be published to live accounts.)
Part 3: Q&A and Takeaways: Where Should You Start with AI in Your Own Work?
Learn how to delegate piecemeal tasks to AI, not just full automation, and discuss the first steps you can try right away. There will be ample time for questions to ensure everyone leaves with clarity.
There will be two breaks, and the relaxed 3.5-hour pace ensures no information overload.
Recommended for:
- Entrepreneurs or small business owners struggling to keep up with outreach
- Team members wearing many hats in a small group
- Those feeling left behind by the AI agent trend
- ChatGPT users curious about what's next
- Anyone who wants to see what AI can really do before considering outsourcing or new tools
Not ideal for:
- Those seeking technical deep-dives into AI technology or model development
- People wanting to learn programming
- Experienced users already utilizing AI agents in their daily work
Networking Session Afterward
After the workshop, there will be free time for networking and exchanging business cards, with some drinks provided (optional, 1,000 yen for those who wish to join).
AI Village isn’t a place where 'AI experts teach', but rather a hub for people from diverse backgrounds to share skills and ideas and build new connections. We encourage you to stay for the networking session if interested.
