This popular program presents famous Noh pieces in an engaging way, designed for everyone to enjoy—even those with no prior knowledge. The lineup features the humorous Kyogen play 'The Son-in-Law’s Boat,' about a lively exchange over sake on a boat, and the Noh classic 'Benkei on the Boat,' showcasing both the beautiful dance of Lady Shizuka in the first half and the dramatic appearance of Taira no Tomomori’s spirit in the second. Both plays revolve around the theme of 'boats.' Before the performances, Artistic Director Masayuki Nakamura will give an introductory talk, and subtitles will be available during the show, ensuring a welcoming experience for first-time visitors.
