Gekidan Shinkansen's 46th anniversary winter production is Inoue Kabuki "Seven Souls at Skull Castle LAST STAND", billed as the final staging of the series first performed in 1990. Set in the Sengoku period, it follows a swordsman who meets a mysterious woman fleeing a warlord's forces, and their paths lead to a pleasure district where old ties resurface.
