The Taradara Festival at Shiba Daijingu Shrine is one of the most famous autumn festivals representing Edo-Tokyo. Held over 11 days from September 11 to 21, it is known as the longest festival in Japan. Its nickname, meaning 'sluggish' or 'leisurely' festival, comes from its unusually long duration. During the festival, visitors can receive ginger as a good luck charm, earning it the alternative name 'Ginger Festival.' Experience this traditional event that has continued since the Edo period.
