Shonen Shachu's 45th stage production, "Akegarasu," is a new play written and directed by Nobuhiro Mouri, set in Tokyo's old Yoshiwara pleasure district and exploring lies and truth, love and desire, and life and death through 17 characters. The Tokyo run plays November 19-29, 2026 at Kinokuniya Hall in Shinjuku, followed by performances in Osaka at Kintetsu Art Hall December 3-6, 2026. The cast includes Eri Otake, Yusuke Tsuruura, Yoshiko Kato, Taro Hasegawa, and Rina Ikoma, among others. Reserved-seat tickets range from a discounted ¥2,000 U-19 price up to ¥8,300 for holiday matinees, with standard seats at ¥7,300-¥7,800.
