Tokyo Toy Festival
October 10–11, 2026
Over 300 toy consultants and street performers from across Japan gather annually for this festival celebrating the culture of play. At the 'Play Fair,' around 100 booths offer hands-on workshops making toys from natural materials and felt, as well as handmade toy sales, with offerings changing daily. The event also features interactive stage performances by professional jugglers, balloon artists, and lion dancers, plus opportunities to play against experts—such as Japan’s national table soccer players, former national Othello champions, and board game specialists. Families can enjoy a full day of entertainment together.
