Peak Autumn Foliage at Togeshi Forest
November 27 – December 17, 2026
Togeshi Forest, formerly the residence of Yuzo Togeshi, a key contributor to the completion of the Ryoso Irrigation Canal in 1950, which transformed the region into one of Japan's leading grain-producing areas. In autumn, the forest features vibrant clusters of Iroha maple trees transplanted from Kyoto by Togeshi himself, offering visitors a serene setting to enjoy the beautiful fall scenery during a leisurely walk.
