Stephen Sondheim's thriller musical "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" returns in Amon Miyamoto's production, first staged in Japan in 2007. Masachika Ichimura and Shinobu Otake reprise their pairing as Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett, alternating with new pair Naoto Kaiho and Manato Asaka. Set in late-18th-century London, it follows a barber wrongly exiled by a corrupt judge who returns under a new name to take revenge.
