Kankuro Nakamura and Shichinosuke Nakamura Special Spring Kabuki Performance 2027
Brothers Nakamura Kankuro and Nakamura Shichinosuke bring a touring kabuki program to Kamakura Arts Center as part of their nationwide spring tour. The programme pairs the festive dance piece "Niwaka Jishi", led by Nakamura Tsurumatsu as the firefighter-leader, with "Yado no Tsuki", in which Kankuro plays Kametaro and Shichinosuke plays Otsuru. It is designed to be approachable for first-time kabuki audiences as well as regular fans.
