A monthly reading group explores the Kojiki, Japan's oldest chronicle of myths, in a way that’s accessible even for first-timers. Discover the origins of traditional Japanese culture by delving into the world view of 8th-century Japan. Though part of an ongoing series, each session reviews previous topics, so newcomers are welcome at any time. This session continues reading from the first volume of the Kojiki, focusing on the myth of the transfer of land and the dispatch of Takemikazuchi by the deities of the heavenly realm.
