Registration closed. This guided hike starts from Musashi-Itsukaichi Station and explores Mount Takao and Mount Tenjiku in Akiruno City, with views over Lake Itsukaichi. Participants will visit managed artificial forests and Yokosawa-Iri, the first area in Tokyo designated for satoyama (traditional countryside) conservation, learning about forestry and rural life. The route also includes stops at Daihiganji Temple, associated with Date Masamune, and the remains of Ina-ishi stone quarry used from medieval times through the Edo period, offering insights into local history and culture.
