Exclusive 'Tropical Island Underwater Walk' – One Group per Day at Kamogawa Sea World
October 5 – December 25, 2026
Kamogawa Sea World offers a special program, 'Tropical Island Underwater Walk,' where one group of up to 5 people per day can enter an aquarium tank with a staff guide until March 19, 2027. Participants can don wetsuits and explore the popular 'Emerald Cove' tank—modeled after a South Pacific coral reef—home to around 1,500 colorful marine creatures including sea turtles. The experience includes a chance to feed the fish underwater and get an up-close look at them. Tank water is kept at about 23°C year-round for comfort regardless of season or weather. Both overnight hotel guests and day visitors can join. Available on selected days (see event dates), with eligibility for participants aged 5th grade to 60 years, able to swim 25 meters and in good health. Advance booking required; adults (high school and older) 10,000 yen, children (5th grade and up) 8,000 yen. Please note: No makeup or jewelry allowed, glasses or contacts can't be worn during the experience, and staff instructions must be followed at all times. Event may end or change at staff discretion for safety reasons without refund.
