Hakone Komagatake Ropeway Autumn Foliage
From Mount Komagatake in Kanagawa Prefecture toward Mount Kami, Hakone's highest peak, the mountainsides are covered with abundant trees. The brilliant autumn foliage is especially striking, transforming the landscape into a tapestry of reds and yellows. Typically, the leaves begin to change color in late October, with the best viewing season peaking through late November. The clearest views can be enjoyed in the morning or during sunset, when the sunlight enhances the vibrant colors. On clear days, you can see both the autumn leaves and Mount Fuji at the same time. While riding the ropeway, you'll have the opportunity to capture photos of the gondola, the autumn foliage, and Mount Fuji all in one frame.
