Autumn Foliage at Mitsuike Park
This expansive park covers about 300,000 square meters and features three ponds—Upper, Middle, and Lower—surrounded by lush woodlands, which is also the origin of the park’s name. In addition to sports facilities like a baseball field, multipurpose plaza, and tennis courts, there's a Korean Garden built to commemorate the friendship between Kanagawa Prefecture and Gyeonggi Province in South Korea. In autumn, flocks of migratory birds arrive and can be seen overwintering around the Lower and Middle ponds. From mid-November, the trees start to turn vibrant shades of red and yellow, reaching their peak in early December, making it an ideal time for a leisurely stroll amid the colorful foliage.
