Fukushima Study Tour

A one-night, two-day study tour to witness, hear, and experience the current state of recovery in Fukushima and the memories of the earthquake and tsunami. This tour offers new insights and deep learning for both those who experienced the disaster and younger generations. Participants will visit sites such as the Okido Elementary School earthquake monument, the Great East Japan Earthquake and Nuclear Disaster Memorial Museum, and the Yumeno Mori Learning Center. The tour focuses on understanding the impact of the disaster and nuclear accident on the region, the importance of preserving these memories, and reflecting on the ongoing path to recovery.
