Autumn Leaves at Ichikawa City Zoo and Nature Observation Garden
Located in the northeast area of Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, and easily accessible from Tokyo, the Ichikawa City Zoo and its surrounding area let visitors enjoy the vibrant autumn foliage in a peaceful setting away from the city. Outside the zoo, the Nature Observation Garden offers a rare, spring-fed natural environment, with wetlands and sloped woodlands home to various wildlife such as fireflies and dragonflies. The autumn colors at Omachi Park nearby are also impressive. From November 21 to December 6, 2026, a special maple viewing event will be held at Omachi Park.
