Odawara Flower Garden will hold the Autumn Rose Festival from October 24 (Sat) to November 23 (Mon, public holiday), 2026, during the peak blooming season of autumn roses. Due to the temperature differences between day and night, autumn roses have uniquely rich colors and fragrances distinct from spring blooms. In the autumnal gardens, you can enjoy the vibrant flowers and their scents, as well as rose-themed exhibitions, workshops, and a rose seedling sale. Main Event Details: - Staff-led Guided Rose Garden Tour (free): Learn tips on enjoying the garden and rose trivia. Date: November 7 (Sat), 2026, 11:00-11:30. Max 20 participants, same-day registration, free. Cancelled if it rains. - Rose Flower Arrangement Workshop (advance reservation required): Create elegant arrangements using roses and foliage from the garden, a rare chance to take home flowers from the park. Date: November 8 (Sun), 2026, 13:30-14:30. First 5 to reserve (call starting October 25). Fee: 2,200 yen. Bring flower scissors. - Rose Bath Bomb Workshop: Make fizzy bath bombs with garden roses. About the Odawara Flower Garden: Opened in 1995, this botanical garden features the Tropical Dome greenhouse (year-round tropical and subtropical plants, admission: adults 200 yen, children 100 yen), the largest collection of ume plum trees in the region with around 300 varieties, a rose garden with approximately 160 varieties blooming in spring and autumn, and an iris pond with about 180 varieties. Enjoy various flowers throughout the year. Admission to the outdoor gardens is free; greenhouse entry is charged.
