Autumn Leaves on the Maple Road
[As of October 2026, parts of the route are closed due to landslides caused by a typhoon. Please check the official Futtsu City Tourism Association website for the latest information.] The road commonly known as 'Maple Road' runs alongside the Shikoma River along Highway 182 (Kamihata Minato Line), stretching for about 10 kilometers and lined with around 1,000 maple trees. It is one of the best spots in the prefecture to view maples. From mid-November, visitors can enjoy the brilliant autumn colors illuminated by the soft light of late autumn.
