Enjoy a scenic walking trail along the Kawamatagawa Gorge, which flows from the Yatsugatake Mountains, and admire the graceful Turyu Waterfall. Follow the sound of the clear stream from the parking area and reach the waterfall after about a 15-minute walk. Turyu Waterfall is 10 meters high and 15 meters wide. Unlike the usual powerful image of waterfalls, it exudes the calm beauty of a Japanese garden, with several small cascades creating a picturesque and tranquil view. The mystical appearance of the waterfall, pouring like silk threads through mossy rocks, inspired its name, which means 'Dragon’s Breath Waterfall.'
