Located in the northernmost part of Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture, Oashi Gorge is home to around 20 waterfalls. Among them, a viewing platform at the upper Ootaki Waterfall offers breathtaking views of emerald-green streams alongside vibrant autumn foliage. At the foot of Shiraihiradaira Bridge, an especially prominent maple tree known as the 'Great Maple' is a popular photo spot, featuring vivid leaves, an arched bridge in the background, and a flowing gorge in the foreground—like a work of art. On clear autumn days, the red and yellow leaves reflect off the river, creating a beautiful, prism-like brilliance.
