Toyama Park is divided into two areas: the Hakoneyama area, which features Hakoneyama—the highest point within Tokyo's Yamanote Line at 44.6 meters—and the Okubo area, separated by Meiji Street. Every year from late November, visitors can enjoy beautiful autumn foliage, especially the vibrant colors of Japanese maples on Hakoneyama. The park also features other trees such as zelkova, ginkgo, and horse chestnut.
