Located along a tributary of the Oi River in Shizuoka Prefecture, the Sumatakyo Gorge features vibrant fall colors as the trees turn red and yellow. Enjoy spectacular views from famous spots such as the Yume-no-Tsuribashi Suspension Bridge and the old Hiryu Bridge, once part of a forest railway. A walking trail connects the hot spring town with both bridges, allowing visitors to complete a scenic loop in about 90 minutes.
