Shizuoka Prefectural Forest Park offers a rich natural environment with mixed forests of Japanese red pines and broadleaf trees. The park features scenic walking trails that make use of the natural terrain, spacious lawns, and an impressive 150-meter suspension bridge. At Uguisudani Streamside Plaza, reached via the Maple Path, you can see brightly colored maple leaves floating on the water, creating a sense of autumn. From late October, the American sweetgum trees begin to change color, and by late November, the park's diverse trees, including Japanese maple, tulip trees, and Japanese torreya, display vivid autumn hues. Visitors can enjoy forest bathing while admiring the brilliant fall scenery.
