Autumn Foliage at Sagamiko Prefectural Park
Each year in early November, the mountains surrounding Lake Sagami—formed alongside the completion of the Sagami Dam in 1947—begin to display brilliant autumn colors. The foliage on Arashiyama, located near Sagamiko Park, is particularly striking as it reflects on the lake's surface. The panoramic autumn views from Mount Sekiro, with its Yunogo-daira area and Daimyojin Observatory, are also not to be missed. Visitors can enjoy a stroll across the Sagamiko Bridge while taking in the changing leaves.
