Autumn Foliage at Oiso Joyama Park
This traditional Japanese park, which incorporates the former Mitsui family villa and the old Yoshida Shigeru residence areas, is filled with lush greenery including oak and zelkova trees. Scattered throughout the grounds are classic teahouses, a local history museum, and a Japanese garden, all contributing to an authentic atmosphere. In autumn, maple trees add vivid red accents to the landscape, with peak viewing usually from mid-November to early December. Around 540 maple trees in the Mitsui Villa area and 150 more near Fudou Pond turn brilliant colors simultaneously, offering spectacular autumn scenery.
