Autumn Foliage at Miyagase Dam
The Nakatsu Valley, once known as the 'Yabakei of the Kanto region,' was transformed into a new scenic spot with the completion of Miyagase Dam in 2000. Surrounded by deep greenery and retaining traces of its former beauty, the area becomes vibrant with colorful autumn leaves from mid to late November. Bright foliage can also be enjoyed at Aikawa Prefectural Park, located just below the dam.
