Autumn Foliage at Lake Tanzawa
Lake Tanzawa, selected as one of Kanagawa's 50 scenic spots, is a beautiful lake where green and autumn leaves are reflected on the tranquil water. The autumn foliage begins to turn in early November, reaching its peak from mid to late November. Enjoying the 360-degree view of the colorful leaves from a boat is especially memorable. The surrounding area offers many restaurants serving local dishes like yamame trout and wild boar hot pot, as well as day-use hot springs, making it a perfect short getaway to enjoy the fall colors.
