Its name comes from the 'Shinagawa Palace,' which once stood here as a rest stop for generations of Tokugawa shoguns during falconry outings in the Edo period. In autumn, the garden is adorned with vibrant fall colors, and the reflection of the foliage on the pond creates a particularly beautiful scene.
