Autumn Foliage at Chiba Park
October 11 – December 10, 2026
Free entry
[Note: Parts of the park are closed for construction until the planned reopening in 2029.] Chiba Park, sometimes called the Central Park of Chiba, is a popular city landmark where you can experience nature in all four seasons, including cherry blossoms in spring, ancient lotus flowers in summer, and vibrant autumn leaves. In the fall, the park's 16 hectares come alive with the red and yellow hues of trees such as zelkova, maple, and ginkgo. The autumn colors can be enjoyed over an extended period: zelkova trees begin to turn in mid-October, maples in early November, and ginkgo trees in late November.
