Autumn Foliage Along the Aizu Kinugawa Line (Yagan Railway)

Ride the train as it departs from the scenic Ryuokyo area, passing through tunnels to offer stunning views of autumn foliage covering the mountains and hot spring town between Kawaji Onsen and Kawaji Yumoto stations. After leaving Yunishigawa Onsen Station, known as the 'station inside a tunnel,' the train crosses a bridge over the Yunishigawa Dam, revealing vibrant lakeside vistas. Emerging from another tunnel, passengers can enjoy the rural autumn scenery near Nakazemiyori Onsen Station, while at Kamimiyori Shiobara Onsen-guchi Station, brilliant ginkgo and maple trees greet the train. The journey continues toward Oga-Kogen Station, famed as a remote 'hidden station,' with ever-changing landscapes visible from the windows. Crossing the prefecture border into Fukushima, the train arrives at Aizu Kogen Oze-guchi Station, where the colorful mountains of Minamiaizu unfold before you.
