Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi Prefecture hosts the 'Garden of Illuminated Flowers,' one of the largest light displays in the Kanto region with 5 million lights. Recognized as a Japan Nightscape Heritage site since 2011 and one of Japan’s top three illumination events, it has also received multiple awards, including first place nationally for three consecutive years at the International Illumination Award in 2025. The park is decorated with illuminated roses, wisteria in four colors, and 2,000 glowing water lilies, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The event features three themes: from October 17 to mid-November, 'Light and Flower Collaboration – Fusion of Lights and Amethyst Sage'; late November to late December, 'Flower Park Christmas – Christmas Fantasy'; and from New Year's Day to February 14, 'New Year Illumination – Collaboration of Lights and Winter Peonies.'
