Since 1996, this festival has aimed to boost local business in the city. During the event, participating shops in the shopping district hold special sales as a token of thanks to customers, and shoppers who spend a certain amount can enter a raffle to win prizes such as hotel stays. On the first Saturday and Sunday of November, a street festival takes place on Banba Street in the city center, with local companies and organizations offering food stalls and promotional booths.
