Starting this summer, the “Forest Connections” series lets you connect with forests across Japan, even from the city center. The first event focuses on crafting kitchen tools from wood sourced from Japanese mountains; participants can choose to make a wooden spoon or spatula. There’s also a corner for children to use wood scraps to create imagined forest creatures. Enjoy a hands-on experience that brings the forest to your senses, open to children and adults alike. Advance registration is required and spots are limited due to material availability.
