“Teppen Kendo Festival!” is a one-day event where visitors can discover and experience the fun of Japanese KENDO at Tokyo Tower. Highlights include a FREE Kendo Experience for beginners, plus a Kendo Armor Dressing & Photo Experience (paid), where visitors can put on authentic Kendo armor and take memorable photos at Tokyo Tower. Visitors can also enjoy Kendo demonstrations, an LED bamboo sword experience, Kendo-related exhibits and goods, and a screening of the Japanese Kendo movie “Top Swords Couple” with English subtitles. No Kendo experience is necessary. Visitors are welcome to drop in throughout the day.
