Outlaws of the Marsh Exhibition

An exhibition focused on the classic Chinese novel 'Outlaws of the Marsh,' one of China's Four Great Classics, which depicts the heroic rebellion of outlaws during the Northern Song dynasty. Highlights include all 74 prints from Utagawa Kuniyoshi's renowned 'Illustrated Outlaws of the Marsh' series, as well as masterpieces representative of Northern Song culture, such as the Important Cultural Property 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival' by Zhao Zhe, which depicts the bustling capital of Kaifeng. The exhibition also features artwork and materials related to 'Outlaws of the Marsh,' from historical artifacts to contemporary manga illustrations and drama costumes.
