The Mushasai Archery Festival is based on a legendary battle between the deities of Mount Nantai in Shimotsuke Province and Mount Akagi in Kozuke Province, said to have taken place at Senjogahara. Festival representatives, dressed in traditional formal attire, shoot arrows towards Mount Akagi while shouting 'Ya!' Experience the powerful spectacle of this ritual performed in the harsh cold of winter.
